Dear Parents and Students,

           

Welcome to the start of another school year and an exciting year in 8th grade!  This year will be filled with many new learning experiences and exciting activities as your children round out their middle school careers. Please remember that success in middle school is tied to being organized and responsible. The following are some things you and your child can do to help ensure his/her success in math this year. 

 

First, it is imperative for your child to attend math class regularly and be prepared with the proper materials. Please be sure your child has the supplies listed below with him/her each day.

Supply List

  • 3-inch, 3-ringed binder  (MUST BE 3 INCHES)

  • 2 packages of loose-leaf notebook paper

  • 1 Package of graph paper

  • 1 pack of Sharpened or mechanical pencils  (NO PENS USED IN MATH)

  • Hand-held sharpener with shavings case

  • 1 Folder (3 holes- to fit in binder)

  • Ruler

  • Dry Erase Markers

  • 1 Pack of White Copy Paper

  • 1 Box of Tissues

 

*** All materials will be collected the 2nd week of school so please make sure your child’s name is on EVERYTHING.

 

Bringing in ALL supplies will count as your child’s 1st exam grade
